Roman Glass became a popular style of glassware and method of storage by 500 BCE. These beads come from broken pieces found along the silk road and have been turned into wearable art.

1800's Button Wraps

Metal buttons became popular around the mid to late 1800's, replacing fabric buttons as a more affordable option. The casting method allowed for intricate designs and were commonly made with glass as well.
